Over the years I have seen several Thoroughbred Mustangs that have a reduced seat height. I had one myself but I did not modify the frame. Wish I still had the bike.
Does anyone know what would have to be done to reduce the seat height? I know that the stock seat could have less padding to change the ride height. I really want to know what might be done to change the seat height. Cutting and reworking the frame? Cutting down the shocks? Using a different length shock from another type motorcycle? Problems that might arise in the process.
Here is a photo of a Thoroughbred that was cut down and really looks like it should. This is what I think the factory should have done.
Any comments, suggestions or observations appreciated.
